Jockey was founded in 1876 by Samuel T. Cooper whose goal was to revolutionise socks and hosiery and invented the first men's brief called Jockey Shorts, forever changing the underwear landscape. They were also the first to produce the Y-Front brief and stitch the brand name in the waistband of underwear.
This heritage brand is one of the most famous names in mens underwear and its legacy is based on ingenuity, vitality and authenticity.
Underwear Styles
Jockey offer a range of underwear styles to suit every mans body shape and preference. With 4 main shapes to choose from, it's important to know the differences. Every season Jockey bring out exclusive collections including Beach Life, In The Game and Urban Landscapes to help you dress the part and celebrate these themes with authentic colours and matching underwear and loungewear.
Woven Boxers - This style offers a relaxed, traditional shape. Made from woven cotton, it sits loosely round the waistline with a button-fly closure and provides full coverage.
Briefs - A traditional-rise brief that sits on the waist and provides full rear coverage.
Short Trunks - Provides full front and back coverage with legs to the top of the thighs. Shorter style that is often the most popular.
Boxer Trunks - This style offers full front and back coverage with legs extending to the top of the thighs. Offers a longer but supportive fit.
